Pinnawala Elephant orphanage situated between Colombo to Sacred city of Kandy in Kegalle District. The Elephant orphanage was founded for feeding, care and protect of orphaned unweaned wild elephants found wandering in and near the forests of Sri Lanka. It’s is a captive breeding and conservation institute for wild Asian elephants and presently more than 80 Elephants are protect under this.
Enroute Visit Mihintale Royal Temple where the Buddhism was firstly introduced in Sri Lanka by Buddhist monk Mahinda. Dambulla Royal Temple known as Golden Temple and it’s another Heritage site in Sri Lanka declared by UNESCO in 1991.
