Pinnawala Elephant orphanage is situated in Kegalle district that’s 90 Km from Colombo city. Elephant Orphanage was established in 1975 in order to afford care and protection of the orphanage Elephants form the jungle. The Elephant orphanage is the place where the largest herd of captive Elephant in the world, very popular with locals and tourist.
Dambulla is located in Matale district Central province of Sri Lanka and Dambulla is famous for the largest and best-preserved ancient cave temple complex dates back to the 1st century BC. Inside the caves the ceilings are painted religious images of Lord Buddha and Bodhisattvas as well as over 150 Buddha statues are consists of 5 cave temple complexes.

Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress located Matale district in Central province. Minneriya National Park is located in North Central province between Habarana and Polonnaruwa, the ancient Minneriya rain water reservoir is located inside the park. Minneriya National Park provides visitors with the opportunity see herd of Elephants through out of the year and it has become an Elephant corridor that connects Kaudulla and Wasgamuwa national park. Minneriya National Park covered an area of 8890 hectares and it’s a wonderful place where you see the largest, recurring Asian elephants gathering in the World.
