Colombo is the Commercial capital and a Tourist destination of Sri Lanka. Colombo is a vibrant and busy city with a mixture of modern life, colonial buildings and monuments. Presently Galle is the main city of the Southern province and it mainly famous of the Galle Dutch fort and the 1st natural harbor of the Sri Lanka. Galle was the center of the Dutch regime in the 17th century and the majestic Galle Fort which spanned over 90 acres. Galle Fort which was firstly built by Portugues in 1588 and the Fort was later extensively fortified by the Dutch. Galle Dutch fort has been recognized as a cultural World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988.
